I got a few enquiries regarding if I'll be working on the sequel. Well, at this stage, it's still too early to say. I will focus on getting this finished or close to finishing before even thinking about the sequel. But I will keep you posted.

Don't you hate it when mangas are dropped halfway through scanlation, especially with mystery manga? We need closure! And we need to know who the ultimate villain is!
Anonymous suggested this manga to be looked at; coincidentally, it was one of the stories I was reading a while ago. So I thought, why not, since there are only 3 volumes left to be translated...

Hi everyone, sorry about the slight delay. But today, we are very proud to present to you the first HQ scans for Luck Stealer! I don't know about you but I'm pretty stoked!
Anyway, if you're not quite up to speed, here's what happened. In my last release note, I mentioned that the existing raws we had weren't that great in quality. So, Blinding Awesomeness and I decided to buy some new raws so that the quality of our releases won't suffer. And that set us back approximately $50 bucks. So... please help us out here with the donation if you can!

Don't get too excited just yet, I just want to STRESS that this is a standalone release. From my understanding, 8 chapters have been released in Japan. Manga Updates states that this is still an ongoing manga but I'm sceptical about that.
Anyway, one of our cleaners, Milla, approached me some time ago to help work on this project. Unfortunately, the translation is kinda out of my league (I had a lot of difficulties), hence the standalone release. However, I believe Milla will continue to work on this project, so if there's any translator out there who's interested, please don't hesitate to send me an email and I can hook you up with Milla.

Okay, so sorry about the massive delay in the release for Aries. As I have explained in one of my previous updates, our cleaner/typesetter Nicia is currently unavailable. I decided to edit Chapter 16 myself because I'm not sure when she'll be back and I really don't want to delay the release any longer.
Chapter 17 has already been translated. I will clean and typeset the chapter soon. :) Once again, sorry about the delay. It's really unintended. But do enjoy Chapter 16. I have a new favourite character!

Woohoo, new chapter from a new volume! I can say for sure now that we're no longer in a flashback. It's a bloody amazing chapter, I totally love it!
Okay, you might have noticed that I've shamelessly put up a DONATE button on the sidebar. Please hear me out. The raws for the remaining volumes are in pretty bad shape, so we decided to get better raws from YesAsia. And by doing so, that set us back by about $50.
Now let's do the maths. We ordered volume 7 through to volume 10. That works out to be $12.50 for each volume. This is how we're going to do it, instead of asking for donation for the entire sum ($50), we'll do it by volume. It's only sensible this way me thinks. Since we're scanlating volume 7 now, we'll be more than grateful if there's any kind soul out there who'd help out with the cost. Obviously, we'll credit you for your kind act in our release.
That being said, this is the only chapter from Volume 7 we'll release until we get hold of the new raws. But it shouldn't take too long. We reckon we'll get hold of them by mid July.

Here's the long overdue chapter of Yakushiji. So sorry about the delay, it really should have been released about a week ago, but I wasn't feeling very well.
Round of applause to SnarlySnarky who has taken up the typesetting for the chapter. It's a very text heavy chapter - lotsa explanation going on. I put in a lot of effort to get the translation right, I'm sure kayess it was the same for kayess and Snarky.
QUICK UPDATE for Aries, I think our typesetter Nicia has been busy... So please bear with us. I promise I'll get it out there as soon as possible once I get it back for QC.

As promised, here's the final chapter of Volume 6 and also Volume 6 Extra.
There has been confusion whether the current story arc is still in flashback or back in current time. Personally, I don't think we're in flashback any more. The flashback ended after Kurusu reiterated his promise to Rika - "To live on with positivity", in page 25 of Chapter 23. I could be wrong but as Blinding Awesomeness has also stated on Batoto, we did see an image of a grown up Karin. And with all the talk of being Flamingo's No. 1, he wouldn't have been their top assassin were this still a flashback.

Remember how I said the previous chapter was f%#*ing epic? Wait 'til you read this. Personally, this is my favourite chapter out of all volumes. I kinda had a rough idea of how Chapter 22 would pan out, but still... Sigh.

Hello everyone, thank you for your love and support for "Luck Stealer". As requested, here's the Volume 5 Extra! It's only a short one - 4 pages. I figured I should translate it because it's a small side story for Manaka.
Also, I have a brand new chapter from Volume 6 ready! What can I say, it's a f**king epic chapter!! I love it, love it, love it! By the way, I don't know if you guys have noticed but I'm actually using Chinese raws for editing as there are no Japanese ones available. So if you do know how to get hold of them, I'd really appreciate it if you can point me in the right direction!

Hey guys, as promised... A Luck Stealer release. This is actually the last chapter for volume 5. I know right! Who would have thought?! Just 2 weeks ago, this project looked abandoned and forgotten. :(
Just a quick question, will you guys be interested in reading the Extra Chapter for Volume 5? Because if you're not, I'm just going to move on to the next volume. Let me know either way. Hope you guys love this chapter! A lot of background story! And I stayed up until 1.00 a.m. to get it finished!!

Hey guys, sorry because I haven't updated Aries for a while, but I promise that you're in for a feast!
Besides the fact that this is a 94-page chapter *face palm*, our editor, Nicia-san hasn't been feeling very well the past week. Damn the season changes! Let's hope that she can make a speedy recovery. :)
Oh by the way, we're starting on a new volume! Yippie! New volume, new character, whole new plot line. Remember that little boy sussing out Hades at the end of the last chapter? *winks* Of course, he's the feature character in this volume.
I rate this chapter 6/10 because it is looooooooooooooooong and heavy. You'll see what I mean soon enough. But I hope you'll enjoy the new release nonetheless!

The 9th release! And I'm proud to present to you the forgotten project: Luck Stealer!
Yeah, I think I'm crazy to pick up yet another project, but it needs to be done! From Shoujo (Aries) to Seinen (Yakushiji Ryouko) to Shounen (Luck Stealer), that's a pretty diverse collection there. The last thing I want to do is limiting myself to working on only one specific genre. God, that'd be boring. (But Hentai and Ecchi is something I won't touch. :p)

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while since the last release cause I've been pretty caught up lately.
Today, we have the 2nd chapter of Yakushiji Ryouko. This manga is seriously text heavy, I haven't done anything remotely close to this I don't think. But I guess it's worth it. The conversation between Ryouko and Yukiko is hilarious as. You will see what I mean in this chapter.
It's a great chapter so I hope you will enjoy it!

Finally, Chapter 1 is ready for release after what seems like an eternity. But in my defence, this manga is really text heavy. Translation and typesetting took up most of the time, but I have to say I'm very happy at the end result. The time spent is definitely worth it.
Anyway, it's a relatively short chapter (26 pages). I love the author's humour and I really hope that the humour hasn't been lost in translation. The chapter comes across as a "build-up" chapter to me, I'll try my best to get the next chapter out there as soon as possible so that you can find out whatever happens next!

Hooray! The final chapter of Volume 2 is finally here! Get excited.
It took a while because this is a massive chapter, and I mean MASSIVE. 82 pages long - I think you guys will really enjoy it though.
Let's see, the finale is another great chapter... And... And... God, sometimes I just wish I could say more and tell you more about the release right here in this release note without spoiling anything. >.< Let me know what you think though after you've read it. :)
Also, I'm extremely pleased to announce that Nicia has joined the team to clean/typeset Aries. I'm no longer solo-ing Aries, so hopefully releases will be more frequent! I guess one can only hope hehe. But on a serious note, I wouldn't have been able to get this chapter ready so soon without Milla and Nicia's help. So thank you!

Hello again, everyone!
I'm very pleased to announce that I've decided to pick up Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo! I was actually quite surprised when I realised that no group has started scanlation on this project. I don't know if any of you have seen the anime but Yakushiji Ryouko kinda reminds me of "Catherine" (a game by Atlus) and the story line itself resembles that of Fringe (a Sci-Fi show produced by JJ Abrahms). That's a pretty wicked combination if you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, this is the summary of Yakushiji Ryouko ripped from Baka-Updates:
The story revolves around Ryouko Yakushiji, a brilliant 27-year-old elite investigator with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. Together with her subordinate Junichirou Izumida, the two often investigate bizzare and supernatural cases. In addition with the paranormal, Ryouko also has a longstanding rivalry with Yukiko Muromachi, another talented police investigator.
Crime/mystery has always been my favourite genre. There's so much satisfaction trying to figure out things in between. I think this will be a great project and I hope that many of you will like it too. Do let me know what you think of this chapter!

We have had a healthy dose of Poseidon in the last few chapters. In this all new chapter, we are introduced to a new character. *winks*
I had a little trouble translating this chapter at the beginning because I couldn't figure out who she actually was in Greek Mythology. After much research, I finally discovered that this said character didn't actually exist! (Well she did, but was an entirely different Goddess.)
This chapter is pretty kick-arse if you ask me; it had a gripping story right till the end.So please enjoy the release. If you have any feedback, do leave it in the comment box. Thank you for your support.

First of all, I want to thank you all for your support! It is very heart-warming to know that someone out there is still reading this manga and I am not doing this for nothing. Your comments are very motivating indeed and they spurred me on to have this next chapter released so quickly (considering I'm working this on my own).
Anyway, I'll keep this short since I really don't have anything else to add. Keep your love, support and warm fluffies coming. I mean, who doesn't love them right? :)

So here we are. I decided to pick up Aries again because I really love the manga and it's a shame it is no where near finished. I used to be part of Kaizoku Scanz (who first started on this project) but I went MIA later due to some real life commitments.

This whole one-man-team idea came about because I figured I can work at my own pace without succumbing to the stress of meeting deadlines. I don't have to worry about responsibilities and that's a huge plus for me. So yeah, I'm definitely liking this idea.
